Embedded Linux Engineer

Our client is looking for a Sr. Embedded Linux Engineer.

Desired Experience:

• 3+ years of Embedded Linux Programming (not an IT administrator)
• Linux System Setup and Organization, Installing Packages, Boot loading
• Linux Security Tactics (options to protect your system from outsiders)
• Best Practices for Field firmware upgrades (updating applications running on Linux system)
• Experience modifying Linux Kernels/Drivers for custom applications
• Rules of publishing changes to GPL components (if we modified a Linux Kernel/Driver)
• Experience with ARM processors (they use iMX8mini)
• Real-time Linux programming / communication with M4 Core (real-time processor running in parallel to Linux, all within iMX8mini)
