Our client is looking for a Solutions Operations Manager (SOM) to join their IT Operations and Facilities Management team.

A successful candidate will provide operational oversight of consulting services delivery for one of our three solutions groups in conjunction with the partner(s) who lead each group.

To be successful, you must have experience with:

  • Collaborate with Finance on financial trends and budget Reporting for a team of consultants, requiring insight into the projects, clients, prospects, and backlog being pursued by the team
  • Responsible for running monthly solution group meetings on team performance and maintaining follow-up and/or "action" items
  • Preparation of sales materials, proposals, internal work plans, and work orders/agreements for clients/prospects
  • Project completion review, including financial, project documentation, and project system review
  • Assist in creating company management reporting
  • Manage project billings and coordinate collection efforts with Finance, including client outreach
  • Manage hourly billing logs with project managers and ensure timely approvals
  • Ensure that project plans and work orders are created for all new engagements that match budgeted project billings
  • Schedule and participate in sales calls within the team as appropriate
  • Coordinate with HR on employee onboarding/off-boarding, including verification of proper business type

Other Requirements:

  • 6 years of financial and operational reporting experience
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience
  • Must be an advanced user of Excel
  • Must be technically savvy and a quick study
