We are seeking a detail-oriented Power BI Developer to design and deliver interactive dashboards for a tenant insurance compliance platform. This role will focus on transforming raw data into clear, actionable insights that help operations teams identify non-compliant tenants, monitor resolution activity, and track trends across multiple properties. You’ll work closely with the backend engineer and business stakeholders to surface critical metrics in an intuitive, performant reporting layer.
The ideal candidate has experience developing complex data models, optimizing DAX queries, and working with automated refresh schedules—preferably within the Azure and Power Platform ecosystem.
Design and implement Power BI dashboards for visualizing insurance compliance data across multiple properties and tenant records
Create intuitive filters, KPIs, visual cues, and export tools to enable day-to-day decision-making by client stakeholders
Work with backend engineers to understand data lake structures and define optimal data models for reporting
Set up automated nightly data refreshes and manage Power BI gateway configuration if needed
Optimize performance for large datasets using DAX and Power Query best practices
Ensure visual consistency, usability, and accessibility across reports
Participate in QA/testing cycles and iterate based on user feedback
Strong experience building enterprise-grade dashboards in Power BI
Expertise in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling
Familiarity with Azure Synapse, Data Lake, or similar backends
Ability to interpret business rules and translate them into report logic
Experience with Power BI Service, including scheduled refresh, workspaces, permissions, and deployment pipelines
Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Understanding of tenant compliance, property management data, or related KPIs
Experience working alongside serverless teams within the Azure ecosystem
Familiarity with CI/CD workflows for Power BI content delivery
